Yes, it was great! Gives me something to look forward to every weekend!I could remind Werner that, if I hadn't been down to only MG's and if Der_Boom hadn't been so tenacious....he is good....Herr Werner might have been a ingredient in the fricassee'. But I won't mention that...

nealg - I could hear that you were only throwing peanuts at me, so I ignored you. If I had heard the big stuff I'd have reacted differently. hehe, I have to admit though, that I got so immersed in that one dogfight that I could hardly hold my stick steady to shoot at the bomber, and that once it went down I was practically yelling over RW... Wouldn't have been half as bad if you hadn't been playing the drums on my airframe. ...and yes, Der Boom was stellar! Despite being 2 109s on 3 Spits and a Pe2, Der Boom deserves all the credit for pinning those spits down as I was focused entirely on the bomber. Soooo much fun. Why would he have been yelling? You were in the Pe2 taking all the lead!Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! IP: Logged |

Heehee!! I was, shall we say, hurling invectives at the .303's, and sorta 'forgot' I was broadcasting on our channel....ahem....... When I finally ran out of ammo, I may have requested some omnipotent being to bestow less than a state of grace on the situation.....and unforunately, I still had my mic on.

nealg - trust me, the 109's MGs are just as bad. I finally threw it into "3" mode and just sprayed away. btw, you may have gotten your wish - I was shaking so hard that it was like I was flying my plane with someone else's hands. Divine Intervention? Well it certainly felt like a "smite in progress". Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! I agree it was a great game. I was lead in the 109's for the first mission and I must say that Werner when announcing the fact that he had taken down the JU88 blew my speakers of the table. All in all it seemed a fair fight with both sides completeing their bombing runs and dogfights were evenly matched. That was untill I attracted 3 FC trying their hardest to take me down on my way back to the homeland. I must compliment Werner for his proffessionalism within the game even asking my permission to break off an attack due to lag. Problem was the whole game was laggy.Anyway enjoyed it, Axis pilots please don't forget to post your report for Himdog and Jetlag on www.luftwaffe.com [This message has been edited by Bulldog2 (edited 12-04-2000).] IP: Logged |

That was a fun mission even when flying the Ju88. Thanks Bulldog for coming to help me out over the channel. It was too bad you CTD I could have used your help keeping the Chickens off my 88's six but I ended up wet and cold. But no problem, there was UBoat close by. ------------------ 7./JG3_Himdog out www.luftwaffe.net IP: Logged |

Well I wasn't able to attend, but I hope I can this coming weekend. That Spit burning is nothing new to us. We frequently do that for our hotdog roasts. Oh, you left out what happened right after that nice picture of your planes was taken, luckily I found the footage. Give it a second to load....and enjoy! PR=FC= IP: Logged |
