i want to make both,
and i have modelled something (20-30percent) for the ju52, but i think itīs easier to create the Do17Z first.
So, whatīs your opinion?

I vote for the JU52 with the piņata-style passenger drop and kung-fu grip.

I've wanted to shoot one down for a loooong time.

Excuse my justification here but...

if a Dornier takes X amount of time and a Junkers 52 takes X + Y amount of time, and assuming that rendsburger (my new best friend) will stick around long enough to finish both (in 2X + Y time), wouldn't it be better to have a plane in X time rather than one in X + Y since they're both badly needed and we're going to get both eventually?

P.S. The surgeon general warns that this is what prolonged exposure to physics will do to you.

But Werner, when you factor into the expected time girlfriend A, then look at your total free time Z, subtract real life B, and multiply by a factor of e ^ -kT where k is a positive constant and T is time, you get:
(2X + Y + A) - e^(-kT)(Z-B) = C
where C is some constant.

Of course we want C to be a negative number, and our best chance of getting that is to minimize the values of X, Y, and A. Now if rendsburger is smart, he will try to subtract an X from the left, which could bring C negative. Of course, I'm sure there will be those advocating the removal of A, but that just would add a different constant M, i.e. "time spent at home alone".

ROTFLMAO, WM & charmstar! This kind of jokes really appears funny to the physics geek (geck?) side of me. The e^(-kT) factor is surely the spice of it all. Let me guess, a LaTeX or Mathematica user ?

LOL :-)

Back to the planes:
I like both planes (X and Y ;-),so why i think i need more time for the ju52, is that the ju have a third engine and i donīt exactly know how i let the engine work.
And i would find it very nice, if the plane can drops parachuters.I think this can be done, if the plane are in bombing mode and instead of dropping bombs over a target it drops the paras.

Egad! A parachute drop would be very cool. Not sure how that would translate into a mission objective though.

What I was originally talking about was a morbid image of the craft breaking in half, spilling its contents (passengers... without parachutes ) everywhere. I thought it was funny that my GI Joe (thus Kung-Fu grip) mentality had shined through- you know, the one that melts army guys with gasoline...

Ah, Gustang...I see you had a mis-spent youth!

Any good Pyromaniac will tell you, melting plastic soldiers with petrol just isn't how it should be done. WD40 makes a far better flame thrower.....try it.....I love the smell of Napalm in the morning...

p.s.

Ju52 please! The number of mission options with transport planes make this the one to go for. Also, you won't have quite so much messing with gun positions etc.

p.p.s.

The extra engine is easy. In the properties of the fuselage / root object, is a list of engine items. Add your 3rd engine, list it in the engine list, make sure the engine points to it's propellor object, and you are away. Check out a few multi-engined planes, and you'll soon see how it's done.

Ok Guys, the election is over, not Gore, not Bush, the Ju52 won!!!

I think with your help, we will see this plane in the air!

WT,

Spray cans are for flame 'throwing'. Gasoline is for fuel leaks- the long windy type that allow you to watch the flame race toward its objective (particularly rushing towards a plastic jeep with a few firecrackers attached to it).

Besides, gas was the gift that kept on giving... you could rarely put the stuff out in time to avoid adult intervention.

(thanking God at the moment)

charmstar - LMAO! Seriously though, are you a chemist, or have background in chemistry? I seem to remember (amidst fits of post-traumatic stress syndrome) my Chem teacher in grade 12 going on about e^-kT as part of some big Gibb's Free Energy equation or something...
