a story about a ghost Venom (SMALL POST WAR JET)
TREW STORY!!!!!

A colleague once related his part in the incident with the hair raising tale of his descent on the parachute after ejecting in cloud at about 10,000 feet above ground. About two minutes after ejecting he became aware of a whistling noise which was getting louder but he could not see anything being in fairly thick cloud. Suddenly, out of the murk, appeared a gliding Venom which proceed to miss him by about 20 feet as it disappeared back into cloud - it was his own aircraft. That was a close call but at least it missed him. Two minutes later the noise started again and yet again the aircraft whistled past only a few feet away - this was getting hairy and it continued all the way to the ground with the aircraft having exactly the same rate of descent as the parachute. Indeed they landed only a few yards apart!
