HI.I'm new to SDOE and have installed PP6 and the beeper.However,I have never seen a soul online in Cal room.The beeper shows often up to 10 people,but noone evers appears even after lengthy waits.Which of the two rooms is most used?Thanx and S!

Well, if missions are going on often it can take quite awhile for them to finish. Most people can be found in the Calif 12 lobby, just hang in there! I think for instance today you will see a few guys online later in the afternoon. Look for me later, I'll be there!

Most Friday and Saturday evenings (North America) you can find pilots online.

Not sure whether you are running v1.5 or not. This is the supported patch issued by Activision shortly after SDOE's release. If you haven't installed the 1.5 patch you will not see people in the lobby. If you do have 1.5 installed, and your beeper shows people at cali12, then usually you will find people in the Fighter Squadron lobby and not the Ace's Den. If noone is there, then wait patiently in the lobby, a game is probably in progress. If for some reason you installed the beta 1.5.1 version make sure you run SDOE from the Sdemons.exe file and not the app.exe if you want to play online. 1.5.1 has not been adopted for online use - it is beta. app.exe runs the beta v1.5.1 while sdemons runs the standard v1.5.

I did a CD install and then added PP6..Is this all I need for online play or do I need 1.5 patch and then PP6 installed?..Thanx for the quick responses..Hope to see you all soon!.....Sir Loin of Beef

From fresh install, you will first need to install the 1.5 patch. Then install Nations V2 (find it off of Werner's page or maybe simfiles.com), and lastly planepack6.exe.

Optionally (and highly recommended), install the WWI Planepack.
