First off, I must give up the props to TailGunner for his needed help on the airfields. Thanks bud! Next, TG has some suprises in store...he suprised me with 'em and I'm sure the immersion factor will be set to high. Oh you dont know how bad I want to tell...POST SOME SCREENS TG!! The texture is basically all done except for a final once-over after the airfield and towns SMs are completed. One final thought that came to mind. I've named the new terrain simply "Pacific". Reason being that most of you already have it in your Missionseditor.ppf and it really doesnt depict any "real" location although the names are snagged from random Solomon Islands locations. Some of you may have d/l'd Jaguar's Pacific terrain beta and I havent figured out how to go about this one. Do I rename my terrain yet again or do I march on? I need to know this so I can proceed...Jaguar you listening? Can I use your terrains name?IP: Logged |

I hope to have some shots erady by the tail-end of the weekend. I need to plug in the new bits, and then I should have some screenshots of the village....and the first strip.Till then, you'll just have to wait! Got the Lvl 2 LODS for the PBY off to Snickers, so this is now top of the list.... along with the B17 and B24.... IP: Logged |

I'm not involved in this terrain, but I'll tell you, I feel really chuffed that you guys have carried on the work that we started what seems oh so long ago, to my mind new terrains are what SDOE really needs to keep it alive, new aircraft are great, but if you're flying a new aircraft over the same old terrain it gets dull alot quicker.I'm really looking forward to this guys, good on ya. I don't think Jag will mind about the name Diego, he always said his terrain was very alpha and was happy if we used it and changed it, so I think things will be cool. Good one guys ~Nat~ IP: Logged |

Nat, Who said you were not involved? Your expert tutorial set me on this course. Without you and TG this terrain building buisness would still be stagnant!! I salute you both!IP: Logged |

Please, by all means over write my Pacific map. I won't be working on it anymore. If I get the urge to work on a map, it will be Vietnam . It's kinda difficult to rename a map anyways, you have to change ALL the tiffs, then change ALL the references in the .asc file yadda yadda yadda..... I don't think I even have time to explain it all to you. LOL..........NOW POST SOME SCREEN SHOTS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! ------------------ Cheers! Lt. Col. Jaguar The FS Hangar IP: Logged |
