Testing done with a clean install.

Training
================
Ju-88 A4 : Missions have no instructions
Ju-88 A4XV : No Missions

Hangar
================
Ju-88 A4XV : No Hangar image, No Stats.bmp
P-80 : No Hangar image, No stats.bmp
He-162 - Needs a real Stats.bmp (just used from another plane)
FW-190D9 - No stats.bmp
Beaufighter MK21 (British): Needs British Hangar image. (currently shows Aussie pic)
F4F Wildcat : No Hangar image, No stats.bmp
Ta-152 : Needs real Stats.bmp
Mistel (both) : Needs real stats.bmp (just used from another plane)
Yak 3 : Needs info, not just the loudout of the plane.
Beaufighter MK21 (Aussie) : Needs stats.bmp

Not sure if missions crash, but this is just a list i got on the first sweep. I did notice the P-39Q was listed in the readme, but was not in the game. Not sure if it's a PAR bug or not.

I'll have more if i find it.

Update

Loading screen is a WW1 screen. But theres no WW1 planes in the pack, so why the screen?

Hangar
======================
Ju-88 A4XV has no hangar mission
Ta-152 loads the 190A4 when you use the hangar mission

Also, Network.bmp was in the training folder and it's not suppost to be there.

An honest one here, the Mk6 Landing Craft that is included with PP6 should be replaced with the one from my site, the one in the pack is the old indestructable and wrong sized version, my update to it made it the right size and you're able to destroy it, aswell as adding a halftrack in there for the eye candy Really though, it would be better to replace it with mine.

oh, almost forgot...

Is it only me, or do other people get locked up when after flying a training mission, you change to another aircraft and try flying a training mission again? I get locked up every time when doing this.

Now, now, it's an undocumented feature, a free bonus as it were.

If you don't like it, either unpar data6 and remove it or, like me, install one of gterl's fabulous loader screens.

Spanky here...

Yep dogma, A couple games isnt' a good test of a plane pack.

What good is beta packs if you don't get anal retentive people to test it?

Guess I'll wait for PP 6.5

Hey, this is great feedback. Thanks Razer.

Some of the stuff I already knew about. So not too many surprises. If it was perfect the first, second or third time we wouldn't be on pp6.0. None of this stuff requires an immediate patch but will be itemized for fixes in the next release.

Nat, thanks for the info on the landing craft. I'll grab yours at some point.

Spanky, I don't think the release was premature. I had the beta version available online since mid-October. During 2 weeks of beta testing I received substantial input which was incorporated into the revised edition currently available.

Since launching the beta installers, I have not received any comments regarding issues as described above. If it hadn't been released these comments would never have surfaced.

Oh, on the P39Q it was not included in the pack on your request Razer, the beta listed it and unfortunately I neglected to update the readme to reflect its removal.

Dogma, did you include a loader screen? I know I didn't (so why would it be expected to change).

Nat,
my landing craft does have the eye candy of a half track and explodes nicely when strafed? This is a clean instalation of SDOE and all I,ve downloaded is FS Patch 1.50, Patch fix, PP5.3 and PP6 last night.

Just for the records.

Sorry Nat.
I've just spent an hour trying to destroy the landing craft, your right they don't explode.
Strange, they did last night, looked bigger and definitely had a halftrack in it. I remember flying past to check out the new unit and a wee smile came across my face as I saw the halftrack in the landing craft. Looked great. But not today. Weird!!!
Sorry for the missinformation.

Just a minor thing but, before I installed P.P.6 The colour of the spinner on the Spit IX was mapped to be painted were it should be, but now it's back on the propeller blade again so PP6 must have an older version of the Spitfire MK IX.

While we're nitpicking, the prop spinner mapping on the 5.3 was broken too: the painting area was shared with the antenna wire.
