It works for me! SDOE at 1280x1024 for the BETA build with much improved FPS! The Patched version has the screen offset so I dont use it.

Diego, what are your glide settings? It appears mine wont run unless desktop in set to 32 bit. Much thanks!

Yep, it only works at 32bit for me too. All the 3Dfx tweaks are at default or automatic.

Bonjour à tous !
I've just installed the 1.06.00 drivers.
Work fine for me since I have installed DirectX8 in the same time.
I've got 1020 with 3Dmarks instead of 1000 before installing the last 3dfx drivers.
It "seems" SDOE gives more FPS (from 32 to 120).

I also set the desktop to 32 bits.

My system is:
AMD 450
128 Ram
3DFX V3 2000 (with 2 fans...)

Setting the desktop to 32 bits does the trick. With DX8 and 1.06 I no longer CTD going into SDOE. However, I will still run at 800X600 to save FPS and to avoid the off centered loader screen.

I do have one strange problem. My default desktop color is set to a dark blue. After making the above changes, it turns to green after I run SDOE - even though the Properties selection screen still shows blue. Any ideas?
