I don't get it, I watched Battlefield on PBS a night or two ago and it was about the Battle of Midway. Any way, I've read everywhere and everone of the books and movies says that the Lexington was sunk. But in Chorpus Texas, they have a Lexington Carrier there, and have been on it and inside it, but want to know, did they raise it, or is it a different Lexington. ------------------ "Don't move, if we scatter, he'll pick us off! The original Lexington was sunk at Coral Sea, the only US carrier sunk at Midway was Yorktown.------------------ Yardstick painted this IP: Logged |

The one in Corpus Christi was named in honor of those who died on the original ship. ------------------ jg300_hartmann@juno.com IP: Logged | |
