You can use the bridge from the Africa terrain and see if you can create a few ground objects with it...resized to small, medium and great.

I gues I have to say that the problem here is all in the placement, to be honest I'd not go for building any since a bridge goes from one side to the other.. and the problem is, if I build a bridge it will have to be tailor made for a specific point on a river and if it fits somewhere else then you're damn lucky, this was a problem when I was thinking about building new docks for ships, they just wont fit anywhere else without looking dumb because you can't orientate the model using mission Ed, eg I build a bridge thats orientated north to south, then you can only use it on a river flowing east/west, and as I said, the river banks would have to be perfect aswell, it's a good idea, but the way the game is it just wont work, the full explination is long winded, so just take my word after working on similar subjects

I can place every object on every place i want, and i also able to set an object to every direction i want.
I have read the mission making tutorial!
Open sdeomons.ini
add:
DisplayCoords=1
nad everytime you hit ALT-M you see were you are,becaue you can see the coordinates like= -68109,67701.
hit s use the numkeys 8forward, 5 stop 2 back,4 left,6 right. Hit often and you move faster,use your joystick to turn and you can fly were you want.

Open your mission with notepad/wordpad add to your vehicles after msncoordinate() msnheading and 90 (or any other degree) and your object looks to that direction!

learning something new everyday I never read anything that might be helpful till I'm desperate.. LOL (sad but true) Really though, thats only the small part of the problem, the problem has to do with the size of the object, and how a placed object always tries to lay flat across a terrain, in this case the likely outcome would be that the bridge wont touch the water but instead be placed above it where the outer edges touch land, againh a simlified answer, but maybe some adventerous person will take it on and make it work

A word of warning....
Yes you can go in with a text edito and change the msnheading of an object. Just don't ever open that mission with the mission editor again.....

Wasn't someone (Tailslide?) going to work an a new one?
