I'm back for some more advice....I have successfully upgaded my display drivers and now have come to the conclusion only SDOE locks up within a minute of play. Any suggestions as to why or how to fix? Also the sky is green. I'm going to try Directx8 to see if that fixes it. Besides the fact that only SDOE locks up, I've discovered now I can't install some other games which I've uninstalled while trying to install the driver upgrades. The error message reads - isset_se general protection fault in setup.exe - . Can someone help me out here too. I know I should have left everything alone in the first place, but now it has now become an obsession!!!!! The strange thing is, I had upgraded my driver a year ago and everything was fine until (1) I downloaded the Windows 98 Critical Upgrades from their web sight and (2) the IBM upgrades for my computer which had a second driver upgrade. I'm hoping I don't have to re format my entire system....
Is it possible with all the problems many are encountering, from reading this message post over the past weeks, that a SDOE virus is lose on the internet?IP: Logged |
