I THINK WE'RE TALKING TWO DIFFERENT TYPE PATCHES. THE ONES I'M REFERRING TO ARE FOUND LISTED IN "UNSUPPORTED FIGHTER SQUADRON PATCH BETA SITE", THE LATEST LISTED AS FSC 1.5.1. BETA BUILT 76 AND THE OTHER IN FSHANGER UPDATES AS A BETA 4 UNSUPPORTED PATCH BY M. HARRISON..

No, they're not recommended (otherwise they would be in the online standard ). Some bugs get fixed, but new ones are introduced and performance suffers as these betas are build with debugging rather than optimization in mind.
