Jedi, what needs work on these Italian fighters? 3d work, or just OPS work? If its just OPS work... I could pitch in, in getting all the parts in the right places, the DOFs correct, things working and some small DM.IP: Logged |

Well, they're .dxf files. The first thing I need to do is convert them to something OPS can use, like .obj files. Next, export the .obj files as .lod files, so AC3D can read em. Then chop up the model (it's partly chopped-up already) and scale the parts. Then replace the .lods from an existing plane (109E? Spit V?) with the new parts. Then the hard part starts If Lem has no objection, I'd be willing to convert the models into single AC3D .ac files or .obj files and send it to someone who wants to work on it NOW, as opposed to when I get around to it, but I'll need Lem's specific permission for that, as it's his model that he made from scratch, not really mine to give out. ------------------ --jedi-- IP: Logged |

Yep, that's the one I've got. Should be able to convert it to something usable in both AC3D and OPS.Well, that sounds like a "green light" if someone wants the raw models to work on... ------------------ --jedi-- IP: Logged | |
