Topic: ripple/singlemode for rockets and bombs?

I've got a problem. What lines should i add to my keyboard.inp file to make it possible to shoot rockets and drop bombs also single. It is annoying when you strafe vehicles with rockets and you have to hit one lousy truck with eight rockets. you know what i mean don't you? can someone help me out of this?

If you got all the PP's and patches, just push 8. Hit Alt-W and watch that R next to the weapon turn to S.IP: Logged |

the effect you are looking for wont work with most aircraft, single mode onle works for hardpoints holding multiple weapons like the A10. You can fire rockets in single mode since most rocket mounts carry multiple rockets, but most bomb mounts only hold 1 bomb.. e.g.aircraft carrying 4 bombs on 4 bomb mounts will drop all 4 bombs in single mode A10 carrying 12 bombs on 4 bomb mounts will drop only 4 bombs in single mode. The single mode effects each bomb/rocket mount, and not the total number of bombs carried by an aircraft. I haven't tried it, but I believe that a bomber can drop single bombs from a bomb bay instead of all since the single bay mount is carrying multiple bombs. ~Nat~ ------------------

Nat is right, single mode on the Ju88,Ju188, Lanc, B17's, & Mossie bomb bay will give a single bomb on each key press. As the Lanc can carry upto 28 bombs thats a lot of targets that can be hit with one bomb bay if you can bomb accurately.IP: Logged |

Check for this line in your keyboard.inp (it should be there under weapons):inpWeaponsStationSelect = Backspace : 0 1 This will select the weapon station for you. Unfortunately, 90% of the time I find this doesn't work properly. But now and then I can get half the pilon bombs to drop. If someone figures out an alternate setup that works well that would be really great. IP: Logged |
