I completely agree!

BUT (yes there's big BUT), I think that the
plane builders out there are very busy at
the moment by creating and updating planes.
So it's difficult to make 'wishes' like this
one.

Mhhm on the other hand ...yes we need more
bombers (that's the reason I jumped on the
manchester). Other candidates could be:
ENGLAND
- Vickers Wellington
- ARMSTRONG Whitworth Whitley
- Bristol Blenheim
- Handley Page Hampden
USA
- B25 Mitchel
- B26 Marauder
- Douglas A26 Invader
ITALY
- Savoia Marchetti SM79 (already in work??)
GERMANY
- Heinkel He111 (already in work???)
FRANCE
- Brequet BR691
- Potez 633
- Farman F222

etc. etc. etc.

Now as you can see there are a lot of planes
out there, only time is limited.

PS: Anyway a BR.20 would rock!

cheers

The main reason there hasn't been that main new bombers (and LK can tell you about it) is that bombers are the hardest thing to make. The cockpits are bigger then a fighter which means even more work on something that is already hard to do. They are bigger so you have more stuff to work with. The Ki-61 is around 75 LODs. The B-25 is around 200 if i remember right. A bomber is probably the best project for a good group to work on cause one person can't do it on his own.

We do need med. bombers but people just don't want to spend that much time on a plane.

Bombers ARE a hell of a lot of work!!!!

I know this for a fact, since that's about all I work on.

Let me see, current projects involve..

B17 rebuild
B24
TBM Avenger
PBY wuth Snickers
Manchester update
and some terrain and airfield stuff.
Smallest project I have been doing things with is the BV170

AC3D 3.0 makes such big birds so much easier to do. They still are a major under taking but AC3D 3.0 helps out a lot.
