I got so far on the barracuda, I decided to post an update and some pictures. I had to delete the rear interior due to some texturing problems which will be worked out later. I whipped up a paint job, and the plane will be released with a template for the skin, it will make it a good plane for beginners. I added the appropriate prop to the plane, and got glass and the frame in. The panel is looking very good, alligned all the gauge needles and their DOF's so that they now work right. Next I need to allign the DOFs on the ailerons and flaps, do some more gear work, FM and DM work (will include the cool bullet strings and will possibly expirement with Condors Engine damage) I am going to put Maces tailhook in (I can't get it to work, but others seem to have the hang of it) I think thats it. I did notice that the torpedo is far to small. Oh, and I got a plastic model of the Barracuda! Anywho, on to the pics! Here we go! I did them ala Razer style.

looks good, but think the prop should be solid, i've come to find out that the strobing effect isn't realistic.

Looks "FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!"

The reason for the small torpedo is because thats the German torpedo you have loaded up. Put in the Mk.13 torpedo that I did. (Nats model) If you never got the latest torpedo zip with both the German one and the Mk.13 one, download it at my site.

P.S. Can you mail me the updated Sm file and the new textures? Much thanks!

P.S. I like the stobing effect. Have an option to go one way or the other like the Yak or the P39 makers did.

Lookin' good Aladar. Are you going to fix the rear however? I'm sorry to hear you had to delete it.

Oh of course Werner! What I meant was I deleted it from the plane, I still have the AC3D file for it, I just need to edit the texture references and put it back in. Argon, for some reason the Mk.13 wouldn't load on my plane, I'll go try it again, and watch your mail.

Aladar, Ill see if I cant get the Mk.13 torpedo to work. The cockpit looks great! Hell the whole plane looks great!

A suggestion and an observation if you will.

Try to get the cockpit frame as such where you can see it inside and outside the cockpit without the glass going thru. That may mean making the frame a little bit thicker... but it would look better IMO. Also try to get as much stuff as possible to not clip thru the glass. (I noticed the wing did some)

Now for an observation: Look at the Barracuda head on. Then look at the middle of the wings from head on (Where the top half joins the bottom half) Notice that the left side is not even with the other at the joining. You may have noticed this already. You can also see the uneven joining from the cockpit when you look left and right.
