Hey everybody,
Does anybody know where i can get a good B-17 bombing mission with a bit more action than the ones that are included with the game. Theyre pretty much limited it seems with not that much AI action at all. Me + a freind just want to get our planes up + man the machine guns but it seems in the default missions the AI planes are unconscious. Any help thanks!!!

The B-17 really sucks framerates, so no one really plays with it much, I think. Wakeup Tailgunner is coming along with an updated one soon, though. Then I reckon we'll see some more B-17 missions!

I've got some B-17 missions I can send you, but I'll need your e-mail. I won't guarantee anything in the frame rate area though, and you'll need most of the add-ons.

The new B17 will probably still eat framerate for breakfast, but at least when you man the guns, you will get the idea you are in a B17, rather than an empty oil drum!

Can't help with the 'I'll just sit behind you and let you blow chunks out of me' AI bomber tactics! You can't just fly up to the back end!!!!

Once the new B17 flies, project B24 will have it's model wrapped around the new stuff! There is lots to look forward to for fellow big bird fans!

Here is a campaign that is more for piloting the B-17, it has printable maps and mission briefings. You will need to fly the correct speeds, altitudes, and headings from the briefings in order to be in the right place at the right time.

The download is about 2 megs because of the maps.

If you search the individual SDOE links you will find lots of missions that have B-17's in them.

Ok Guys thanks alot. Im still bummed about the multiplayer support being pulled from
the new upcoming "B-17 Flying Fortress 2"
(Isnt everybody) from Micropose, so FS was my
last resort. Looking forward to the latest add-ons and planes for FS!!!
