OOPS! Red face :-) yes, it's there .....I never noticed it , it was just listed as I-16 . Nicely modelled! someone's put some effort into it :-) There's several down here in New Zealand at a museum.------------------ IP: Logged |

Hello Semmern, I've visited the museum, not seen the Polikarpovs though, I'll go down there and get some photos. I went to do battle with 5 of those fat little planes, with an Fw190A3, thought I'd waste them :-) was I in for a surprise ! couldn't get the little bastards off my tail !! Aparently the I-16 was the first fighter to have a retractible under-carriage. ...hand-cranked :-) ------------------ IP: Logged |
