A San Diego man was charged with the high crime of espionage this week. The charges stem from an incident at the Consolidated Aircraft facility in San Diego.

Pictures of this aircraft were published in the local paper after being sold to foreign interests. Curiously, this aircraft was the subject of numerous reports by this reporter.

Unless specifically permitted by the Government, Movietone News will NOT post any images of this aircraft. This is done in the interest of the lives of the seamen who will one day fly this plane, as well as in the national interest.

Two people were caught taking pictures at the secret airfield where testing on the new Ki-61 is being held. We held the two for 30 mins, at which that time we dragged them behind the testing hangar and.. offered then some food from the cookout we was having after the lastest round of testing on the plane went well. We gave them some money and sent them and the pictures on their way to the US. But, we have heard reports that the betty they was flying in was shot down near midway.

We have since made the security around the airfield stronger since we don't want this to happen again.
