OK, I swore up and down to myself that I wasn't going to release a beta for this just a "It's all done and 100%" ...But the fact of the matter is I'm having to much damn fun with it and it's a shame to waste it all on myself! Facts: Aircraft = 95% done. Cockpit = 95% done. LODS = 95% done. FM = 90% done. DM = 75% done. Directions are simple: unzip to a separate directory and copy into your Fighter Squadron directory. No worries about it screwing anything up as it'll overwrite nothing. You can download it here: http://www.geocities.com/dczurawski/Files/pzlbeta1.zip PLEASE have fun and forward me all accolades... comments and suggestions! Note: I cannot complete the guages untill I receive information as to what the guages "were" and how they "read". Sorry about that it'll have to wait till the next build [This message has been edited by Zurawski (edited 10-20-2000).] IP: Logged |

...Maury,Hehehe ... bastard. I've got about 30 pics.. photos and drawings... Every one of them is "different". I looked'm all over and choose a prodominant theme. That being the OD with a red/brown Townsend ring. I have a few plates with the brown camo with the red(er) ring but I had an impossible time trying to get the coloring and hue of the brown correct, so I settled on this theme. "Hopefully" some of the more artistic fellas will do some of the other themes as electronic art is not really my bag! (cough).. lfbpro ..(cough) So aside thom the townsend... what's your opinion? (like you won't give it to me with out asking) IP: Logged |

Zur, great plane! (Fun as heck! ) A few suggestions if you will. The prop spin up and spin down time needs to be increased (But I bet you already knew that) The banking left and right is too sensative and I believe the roll rate is too fast. Could you make it have a 3d tail? Cockpit looks good so far. Cant wait to see it with instruments! THe detail of the plane is outstanding! Keep up the awesome work man! IP: Logged |

... ArgonV,Thanks for the comments ans suggestions! RE: Prop ... I've kinda been stumped by that. It's on the list of "figure it out when you can". RE: Sensitivity... Hehehe Bare in mind this is a small/light aircraft that exhibited excellent manuverability. It's failings was that it was under-powered and under-armed. That said, If "ANYONE" can find roll-rate and turn-speed numbers, I'll write you into my will!!!! (You can't get something from nothing however).. RE: Tail... As the wings (because of the gull shape)..take a lot of polys, I tried to cut back on other things ... the tail surfaces being one of them. However your not the first to request this ans I'll surely look to impliment this. THANKS! IP: Logged |
