This may be a real newbie question but:
When downloading, for example, Nations v2, I assume that v1 is an extinct item. You don't need v1 before intalling v2 do you? The reason I ask is, I had installed v1 and kept the zip in my temp file for whatever reason, so, can I delete it (the zip) forever? Also with TSbeta11, which is the first file I installed with this name,am I right to think that all the files listed in the readme ie beta 1,2,3,etc are included in the beta 11 download? Furthermore, I read somewhere there is a TSbeta 13 to download, does that include all the previous fixes and addons? Not to bore you, but, the same is true with the Beaufighter series, can I delete the version 1 zips forever since I've installed ver2?IP: Logged |

Golden Rule - Read the readmes and "press" releases about the download in question, because they aren't all the same. In the case of nations, however, go ahead and nuke your copy of v1. v2 overwrites completely. This may not be the case with v3 however, so again read the readmes! I hate reading them like you've got no idea, but they're a small price to pay for what you can get out of the accompanying download!Happy flying! Werner  ------------------

Hello Duke,The version 2 of the Beaufighters replaces version 1. (all the version 1s were removed from www.simfiles.com last week to prevent this kind of confusion) Regards,
