Has anyone seen any reviews of Empires' Battle of Britain? I've only seen one preview and it looks promising but will it beat SDOE? I doubt it but maybe.....IP: Logged |

Here is how I rate flight sims and answer the question, 'Is this flight sim good?' with. I ask myself, 'Can I add a plane?' If the answer is no, then the flight sim is not good. If the answer is yes, then the rest of the asthetics kick in and I ask the rest of the questions about realism and stuff.IP: Logged |

Yeah that's one of the best things about SDOE and we're lucky to have so many people making planes for us!Still, I may buy the game when i've tried the demo first! IP: Logged |

Because of the setting and planes, BoB is a sim I am eagerly awating. After the success of CFS2, though, I am worried. I rate a sim as good if it installs and runs right out of the box....I never compare the different sims I try against each other, except for finding one or two features I like and dreaming of putting it all together into one great sim. CFS2 surprised me by working...so, I owe it now to keep flying it a while. I did the same with SDOE, and had much less of a system at the time. So, as of now, the best are SDOE, EAW, and CFS2 - the worst, CFS1 and WWII Fighters - because neither installed/ran until I upgraded. Shame on them.I don't think any beat the other - I don't think they can. I just hope BoB works immediately without crashes; if it does, I'll enjoy it, even at 640x480 with low detail.
