Okay, this is what has been accomplished so far. All the tiles have been "jungled" over and look great. There is a problem with the mirrored tiles at the edges(thanks for the explanation Nat) that I need to work around. The roads show up all mirrored at the edges.

I need to ask if the community would like to keep the same amount of airfields...I cant believe there were so many in the same 40 square miles.

This should be ready for public consumption by Monday...hopefully. Get those PTO planes and ships ready. No teaser pix this time, sorry.

Which terrain is this one? The miscellanous "anywhere" pacific one or Midway? Singapore??

If its the anywhere one, imo add enough airfields to accomodate an SDOEwar in it, but if its one of the latter two - historical, historical, historical.

(blunt? well, you asked... )

Blunt is good. Its the generic PTO terrain and how many airfields does a SDOEwar require?

Imho 6, after the dover model, but Esox/PR may have another opinion about that, and I don't know how practical that is when dealing with islands.
