Well it says so here... http://www.imgmagazine.com/previews/00/fightersquadron/index.shtml I got this link from the front page of Dogfighter.Com ------------------ 9./JG3_Jetlag [This message has been edited by JG3_Jetlag (edited 10-13-2000).] IP: Logged |

hmmmm....most of the screen shots show a kick-ass sky and terrain, but one shows the same old one color no gradient sky we have. I wonder why?IP: Logged |

Wow im old school, those screenshots are really old. Like when I was following the game 2 years before it came out, they had those exact same screenshots....I guess they had to scale down the graphics a bit.IP: Logged |

Zool is right, those are the same images from the first game, nothing is new..See http://www.parsoft.com/games/sd_shots_old.html ------------------ Tony "Razer" Martin "Making SDOE a dangerous Place, One plane at a time!" These are definitely old screen shots, thanks for pointing that out. But they sure look better than I get. Maybe it's my system. I'd like to know where the terrain is in the two Typhoon shots, and how to duplicate the sky in the P-38 shot. In several of those shots the sky looks a much deeper blue than I get, and progressivly darker towards the top of the sceen. My sky always looks like the one with the Me262.IP: Logged |

The LEAST they could have done was mention that an online community even EXISTED for this game!!! And we thought combatsim would bring in new people to the sim, now people are going to buy the game for mac, and may never even realize what they can expand it to.Totally unimpressive as a review goes, imo. I agree that the mountains of work done by you guys should have been mentioned, but on the other hand, IMG quite obviously says this is a PREVIEW, not a REVIEW.Remember, Mac-users like me don't have the product in-hand yet, so spreading the word about all the add-ons would probably only be of marginal value at this point. If after SD comes out, they review it and don't mention the on-line community...well, then we can rip them a new one. IP: Logged |
