HD crash. Lost the Hs129 and 110 progress. Since I lost the Hs129, i guess its time to move on. NOOOOOOO!!!!!!  Well, I think i'm gonna sneeze, AHH, AHH, AHH, ACHOO!!!

Spanky here... We must be able to revive it from the ashses with the alpha we have floating around? Its better then someone starting over isnt' it>? Couldn't someone look at ash's 110 and aladars and take the best from both>? Ash's model was looking great, it just needed some textures, shading fixes and some lods. Along with the rest of stuff that comes with a plane of course.  IP: Logged |

Don't quit now!Yep,it's a bummer when you have to start again......just went through that with the B24 when I found I had missed some very fundamental modelling points when I built the first mesh. Left me with issues that I just couldn't resolve. And it crashed OPS even though it 'worked' in game. Went back, started again, and the new model looks even better. Had it sort of flying last night. FM is screwed at the moment, and the
DOF's are all way out ( OL does strange things to DOF's and OPS won't pick them up coz they get shunted into properties ). Moral of story? DO IT AGAIN, use what you learnt first time, and make it even better! p.s. or else find someone else to take on the project! hint hint IP: Logged |

Ohhh young people, why don't you learn to make backup of your hard disk!!!! I guess you know what is a CD burner, a Zip drive or even a floppy disk, don't you? It's not just used to put mp3 or youngnudeflowers.jpg!!! Make backup!!! Your PC is just a box! The PBY is farther along now than it was before the crash I had. (Problem was, my crash *was* the backup...). Often times the second attempt at a project turns out better...------------------
