Ive been playing EAW since it came out but im looking to broaden my ww2 sim horizons. I was considering SDOE but im not sure if it will run goos on my pc.
I am currently running (and please dont laugh)
p200
64 Meg ram
Voodoo3 3000
Im just wandering how it will run. Even if i have to turn every little imaginable thing off, even sound, it doesnt matter to me. Thanks and you guys are doing a wonderful job with the game

it will run "ok" on that spec machine, better is if you had a higher processor, but you should get a steady 20fps I think on there which is playable.. when I first got SDOE I played with much lower frame rates, the trueth of the matter though is that 500mhz and over are whats really needed, but yes, just use the detailk sliders and turn everything down to about a middle setting and you should be fine.

Spanky here...

Yeah it might be playable, the only thing thats saveing you is your voodoo3 though.

You should really consider upgrading your board, chip and ram to a duron or cel.

IF you can., belive me i know what its like to be broke, i have been talking about upgrading for over a year. Heck over half my computer is borrowed off a friend. and parts were given to me by a kind member of this community.

Spanky you bum!

I'm running a PIII 500, V3 3000 AGP, 160MB of PC100 SDRAM and 20 GB of hardrive space and I experience slow downs sometimes in large battles. If I were you, I would get a job (If you dont already have one) save your hard earned cash and upgrade! Plus you will need to sooner or later for all the new WWII flight sims that are comming up.

I'm planing on a new board and chip and MAYBE a new monitor before christmas.

I don't spend much money on presents. NEver saw the point.
