Well, I guess 0034 qualifies as Saturday (lol!) sooo.. Tada!! It's here!Firstly, acknowledgements and thank-yous: France Jeeves and Zoycite: medals and ribbons art Lfbpro: voices 6napse: recording Commando: editing sound files Pachy: editing ppf's and missions Australia Redback: Australian Script (read it people!) AGAS: 95% everything else!! Zoycite: Graphics ...and a BIG thanks to the whole community for your support in our crusade to amend the online standard! Imo we now have a mandate enough that I will pursue MH about updating that page. Please make sure as well that if you have a similar online standard page that you update it too please!! And now for a few housekeeping matters: We'd appreciate it if people would refrain from the following until Nov1st: 1. Uploading Nations to their own sites (unless your name is listed above or you're a Nations V1 alumnus) 2. Linking directly to the nations file: link to the hosting website instead, whichever one you choose 3. Breaking apart the file into separate downloads- this caused problems last time. We do this because nations is a lot of work so in exchange we get a bit more traffic to our sites. I think that's it.... Well, if you have any questions, feel free to email myself (keepinga@cadvision.com), AGAS or Jeeves. Also, if you're interested in getting involved in V3, be sure to read the nations page at Abbeville Field carefully and send me an email. (btw - Zur please read and email me with a list of what you can/would like to do) Enjoy!! Werner Molders Whoops - I forgot to mention where to get it even!! lol. Now at least you can get it at abbeville field (link below) --> go to the Airfield, not LuftNet. ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today! Got it! Thanks, all Nations Team. Snake is right, pretty hefty DL, even at a average of 30 KB/sec ( by contrast, I DL'd a demo of Devil Inside last night at 145 avg. KB/sec ).But then, it was 2 1/2 times bigger.. Gotta love DSL or Cable..

Gee nealg you got it tough! I'm at 2.3KB a second now and earlier it was at about .5KB/S. A good day gets me about 4KB/S Luck you! Snake IP: Logged |

Downloading this bad boy now. I'm at 3.39 kb/sec. It's gonna take awhile but it will be an awsome addition! By the way, can I just load this over the top of the old one or do I need to do a re-install? weaselIP: Logged |

Great work, guys.To use the local vernacular, "Beauty, bonza, ripper!!".It's what some down under may call, "grouse!", a real, "fair dinkum" project.OK, I'd better stop with the Aussie slang or I'll be about as popular as a pork chop in a synangogue.Seriously, though, it's a great piece of work. Can't wait 2 see Nations V3.0! Snake - yeah, I remember those...with my USR 56k external, 4 was the best I could ever get. This DSL is impressive, even if I do hate PacBell occasionally.. weasel - I just put it over my existing Nations, but did it from a temp folder and copied each item where it needed to go. Seems to be working just fine.

Ok, prelim. damage report is in: Nations will be down until further notice. Further explanation is pointless because it involves site use agreement details, so please don't ask. Werner

Thanks Luny - I'm waiting for an email at the moment from site admin. After that I think I should have a better idea of what kind of time frame we're dealing with. I'll let you know. Werner IP: Logged |
