I started to build the Sparviero with the Merlin VR building program (cool name!! ), but I have some questions: 1st of all, I need someone to give me some good plans with measures or soething, as mine r too small... 2nd thing: I wondered if I have to "glue" all the body parts i.e. the prop or the ailerons, or let them free to move... Try to give me all the good hints possible as I'm really starting to enjoy doing it!!!li'l out ------------------

Hmmm.. I actually got a S.M.79 sitting around - I just need to finish the wings off and figure out why SDOE ignores the tail after you top 100mph .IP: Logged |

The thing also had a bad case of dimensia - the size was wrong . I went through and remodelled the bump on the top of the plane and the engine nacels, only to realize that the bump only needed one side since the gun will always be exposed. I'll send you the current imported version (as the new front fueselage model isn't exported yet) with the Ju88 wings. Thankfully, the SM.79 used a split flap arangement, so we shouldn't have to worry about cutting up the nacels other than to add gear doors. I think I even have the hstab struts in place, but I might be getting that confused with the Do18.Things to be done - cut holes in the fuse for the windows just aft the pilot position. A hole needs to be cut up top for the top gunner to sit in, wings and airlons, ports for swivel gun in tail section, bomb bay doors, and I need to redo the engine nacels a bit more plus round out the nose a bit more. Anyways, I'll send you what I have. Divide and conquer is the best way. My feeling won't be hurt if you say my modelling looks like crap, because it is close to looking that way now . The original model was a bit brickish due to the need for a low poly count FSD model, which I didn't make. IP: Logged |

OK!!!Send me the model(which program do you use?)!I was already working on the wings, but I think the main problem will be the compatibility between our two programs...anyway, we'll see...li'l b ------------------
