With NAT working on the cockpit, i'm working on touching up the model and mapping. I've redone the gear and the wheels and touched up the mapping a tad and played with this new scheme. I'm going to be doing a lot more with damage and other little things. But NAT's A-10 is rocking right now and it really looking like a top notch Modern aircraft.

Cool Razer I really think I'm going to have to add my new pylon though instead of those individual ones, I mean look at how much this Baby can carry, do you really want to let all that go in one fell swoop.. I think not As an update to the current work: I'm now making the pit more fully 3D, buttons etc being added and the general shape and look being improved. My side of the Pilot work is finished.. new uniform/helmet. Also the fuel tanks have been more properly split up, into left and right wing tanks, centre tank and centre Aux tank. hhmm.. lookin at those pics again lets see.. 2 Mavs, 4Mk84's and 2 Mk82 Snakeye's ? and the new gear Cool Razer ~Nat~

Love that texture, and these new bombs look really good. The old WW2 ones could do with a re-vamp by comparison. If someone can make them radar guided..... On a more serious note, has anyone done any eastern block jets? I'm not a huge jet fan, but I can see the possibilities. With WW1, WW2, Korea and modern, we could end up with a planepack for every taste! We could do period airfields with different bits and pieces, period AA ( can you do SAM launchers to guard airfield?) and even replace some of the targets with period ones. Replace radar towers with a radome mushroom, or a man with a telescope depending on period...... IP: Logged |

I could knock up a nice lil ZSU23-4 pretty quick, I tried SAM but the AI doesn't want to fire rockets at aircraft  even unguided they would have been cool. Far as I know there are 2 Soviet Korean war era jets being built. Myself I'd love to build the Mig29, but it just doesn't feel right to me building an aircraft thats essentialy a missile platform rather than gun orientated, so I doubt I'll be making anything more modern than the A10 unless its a bomber.. somthing like a Stratofortress of something.Yes Razer has really gotten his teeth into the A10 and especially the weapons systems.. just wait til lyou can look at those bombs close up, they really look excellent, so damn realistic... But Hey, I like your ideas on the ground stuff, making Rhineland etc into a modern terrain area with Doppler stations and more modern looking airfields would be a great lil project for someone just starting out in OPS or for someone thats not busy and wondering what to do... be so easy to have spining Radar dishes etc! Hmmm.... seems to me that if we can do a klaxon for approaching enemy ircraft we should be able to do a SAM, albeit just an unguided DOF with some smoke... I would try it but I simply don't have the time. Any takers? It wouldn't be able to shoot you down (unless you were really unlucky!) but could still look cool... maybe someone could even figure out how to get it to explode at a set point...sort of an altitude self destruct.-Stark IP: Logged |

That is way cool!Now, does this mean that cluster bombs would work too? Where the main bomb drops off clusters of explosives? I bet with some tinkering it could work. This obviously has just opened more possibilities. WTG! IP: Logged |

new paint scheme, new image Aux Tank, and left and right Main wing tanks burning.. Left H stab missing and one engine out.. but still flying (it blew about 10 seconds after this pic was taken.. lol)

OK, just built the Tres mounts (triple mounts) for the Mavs and Mk's, heres a full frontal of the A10 with a full Mk82 Snakeye loadout
