I was lucky and it worked fine (also a record speed DL for me), but I still prefer SDOE by far. The planes just look so much better. ArgonV Pilot	posted 09-24- 09:12 PM Ok guys, updates here! It runs on mine ok. But the minute I start shooting at large bomber formations, it CTDs. Also, there are major graphical glitches with the game on my machine. Warping ground etc... I figured out why it doesnt go past the into screen on some machines. You have to have for desktop res high like 1024x768. It wont run on 800x600 so if yours is set to that forget it. If your desktop res is too high, try setting it lower. On a good note, if I dont shoot anything and just look around from up high, it looks like this game may be fun if the glitches are worked out. IP: Logged

Michael Pilot	posted 09-24- 09:51 PM Increasing my desktop resolution got it running, but it appears to run in software mode, which looks terrible and is totally unplayable as far as frame rate is concerned. Somehow I doubt that this demo is going to do much for sales. IP: Logged

I think it was due to me having the 'auto frame rate' option on. I didn't have much time to test that as I needed to go to work. IP: Logged
Spyder Pilot	posted 09-25- 10:10 AM I like it. It seems like an Eaw 2 to me what with all those planes and realistic terrain. The demo is buggy for sure but it's a rush job I think. 75 bombers, 16 escorts, 18 spits and it ran smooth on my c300a @ 450 and geforce. Couldn't resist gunning from a do17 and taking out a few of my friends, I needed some room! The bombing on Southampton was nice and the towns and objects are ample. I was surprised to see all the bombers had moving surfaces as well along with individual id letters. Considering you don't fly them I thought they might have been static I hope mplayer works well. Whirlwind Pilot	posted 09-25- 11:02 AM Same engine , TS. Anyways, I am running a V3 3000 on a Celeron 2 600 using a VA6 (you couldn't over clock a 300a on this board ). I did manage to stay in the game long enough to be annoyed by the propellor outline and the fact my hat switch didn't do diddly squat. IP: Logged

Empire has told us this is NOT the demo, but an unauthorized ALPHA of the demo. There is not a set date for the demo at this time. We will give you more information as we get it. IP: Logged
