Topic: new online standard just 1.5???? tell me please!

Lastnight i go to go online and everyone had 1.5 only,except for Tailslide and myself.Whats the scoup,care to share with some of the rest of us ,I am completly in the dark on this 1,someone tell me why please?IP: Logged |

What were you using? The original? I hope not because that has been out of date for more than year. Just update to 1.5, it is better than the original by a long shot.

Ok, here is what I understand so far. The online standard for WWII is still 1.5, PP 5.3b, and Contest pack 1.1. It has been discovered recently, though, that straight 1.5 without any of the packs has better playability online AS IT PERTAINS TO damage, gun effectiveness, frame rates, and perhaps even CTD's and lockups. So, you may find a few pilots giving it a try. I do not think you will find it is standard, though. Just hang in; it is really only experimental.After all, it is what started this whole thing, in a way. Of course, the FM's are off and you are limited to the original planes, but it's kinda fun to experience that all over again.  I'm sure that is all it is...
