Dan, where you get gas for 1.39 a gallon? I've been cruising Houston fer two days and the lowest i found was 1.44. I'm no pennypincher, but I do believe in driving at least 20 miles to save a cent or two on gas. And don't even get me started on the heat.IP: Logged |

Spanky here.. HAHAA. Well I'm not sure what the conversion is from liters to gallons and it gets even more complicated with the whole Can to US dollers. But up hear in northern ontario, Canada we are paying around 80 cents a liter. sucks ass, a year or so ago i think we were under 60 cents and even that was high compared to southern ontario. Spanky, a liter is about the same as a US quart. So you are paying $3.20 Canadian for a gallon. Not sure what the exchange rate is. IP: Logged |

Saw an interesting chart in the paper the other day. The actual cost of a gallon of gasoline at retail level is pretty much the same throughout Europe and North America - arount $1.10/gallon. The difference, country to country, is the per gallon government tax.Spanky, I calculated you're paying around $2.10US per gallon. IP: Logged |
