Hey, I'm back! Looks like you guys have been bussy. I don't even know where to start at......... I'm blown away at the work done here, nice one guys. Did I have a kick A$$ summer or what! Got many helicopter rides, got to see northern Alberta/BC, got free food, and had a BLAST! I was working STRAIGHT for the past 6 weeks. No days off (not even weekends). At first I was getting up at 3:45AM to start work, towards the end it was 5:30. Never did get more than 6 hours of sleep that whole tour. Took some awsome pictures. You can scope them out here:

Geeze, I was gone so long that I could barely type properly when I got back............Not that I could when I left  LOL. I haven't even botherd to load up FS yet. If I get off the ground in one piece I'll be amazed! Hey, I just noticed something..... With all these new and cool things being done, I notice a serious lack of advancement in the rotary wing department..... I think we'll haveto fix that!  Well, just thought I would pop by and say hello. I'll definately be around. ------------------

Jag! Great to have you back! I sent you the Harrier before anyone else before your trip, and apparently you must have been busy packing or something since I never heard back from you. I'm going to upload the new SM file I've been working on so you can give it a try. It flys better than my original Alpha release plus has the nice pretty canopy now.Check here in a little bit... (in my sig) ------------------

Welcome back Jag! I think I saw one of these choppers in Canmore this summer. You are damn lucky to have the rockies as your standard workplace! (not that I don't like Paris, but nothing beats the great outdoors)IP: Logged |

Unfortunately they took the dual controls out, so I couldn't get a chance to fly one.... although, for a little while, it sounded like they might put them in for my B-day, but that never happened. We were basically spraying roundup. That knocked out the grass, so the little trees in the cut blocks can have all the light they need to grow.SAR2?! SWEET!!!!!!!! I thlink I'll haveto head to my local EB and see if they have it. It flew by, didn't it? Pete, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to fly the harrier. I did get it, but I had a TON of packing to do so I didn't even have time to unzip it  Dauntless.......hhhhmmm...... oohhhh wait, something is coming back......... We were using 2 of the Canmore machines out there. I have a number of friends there now. Beautiful place hu? I have already been through all the winter I can handle!!! I'm moving to Florida. ya, I get the weekend off, then it's back to work on monday unpacking the truck ect ..... OT? Ya, I wish. It's cool though. I got payed by the day, no matter how much work I did..... There were a few days where all I did was wash the tailboom, or something small like that.... then others...... well, I try to forget those IP: Logged |
