Yep, it's the first time I've heard of it being done in SDOE, and something I've been trying with the A10, and I did it!!

8,000ft in my A10 with a Sabre suckin my exhaust, I can't out run him, and there's no mountains for me to dive into and out manouvres him.. problems! Tracer whipping by the cockpit as I'm duckin and weavin, then I think to myself.. OK, these Dive Brakes really kick butt, lets see what happens if...
Deploy dive brakes, kill throttle, pull back hard!

Sabre screams by below me at almost 400mph, unable to slow down to keep with me..

Drop the nose, bank hard left onto his tail.. 30mm Avenger lets rip.. He tries to pull up into a verticle climb, but no way! I've already retracted dive brakes and hit full throttle, I'm on his ass and it belongs to me!

Ha Ha Jesters Dead!

These dive brakes have really brought a new dimension to digfighting for me
