I upgraded to a piii800 and now I get just smoking framerates. Usually Im around 70 - 80 fps in any circumstance at resolution of 1600x1200. I love it, its actually playable now for me in Multi-PLayer.Tonight, just for fun I made quick mission touring the perimeter of a map. I loaded 9 b17s, 9 lancs, 9 p38s as escort, 1 p47 for me 
, and 9 109k-4s to patrol the flight paths. It was great!! I only averaged around 20fps, but it was definitely playable. Very neat to see all the planes in formation, flying in between them all. However, it really kinda proves how bad the AI is. All the planes in formation appear to move as one with no apparant staggering, and then of course you get those mulitple collisions......
But all in all, its reminded how enjoyable I do find this sim. If someone would continually inprove the basic game code with faster and faster computers, and better and better internet connections this could be a really really good game. ( Not to say it isnt ).
