Last word (month and a half ago or so, if I remember correctly) was yes. In fact, it should be along Any Time Now™.IP: Logged |

Just checked out their site...two observations:Ron Dimant who owns Inertia is their President and CEO. The Mac version of SDOE is going to be "ultra-realistic." Sound familiar? IP: Logged |

Will mac users be able to use the community designed add-ons?. If not, they'll be locked out of most online games due to mismatches....Ooops...look at me expecting that the mac version will be completed... IP: Logged |

The Mac version will definately be able to use all of the user-made planes. All of that code should port over as-is.Networking is still up in the air, last I heard. I don't believe that they're using ANet, which means that in the short term Mac and PC users can't fly against each other online. In my copious spare time (ie, during a couple of compiles) I've started researching cross-platform networking libraries that we can drop in to replace ANet. Before you ask, Ron and Matt have been managing the Mac port, for the most part, so I don't have any details on exactly where they are right now. I certainly don't know when they're planning on releasing. IP: Logged |
