Hey Raider, I love your P51 no matter what, but a friendly suggestion if I may. It takes off on idle.------------------ "Don't move, if we scatter, he'll pick us off! Stand Together!"~~Aladar 28 times to see Dinosaur and counting!! IP: Logged |

I want you to make suggestions. But I don't quite follow you. Do you mean it takes off with 10% throttle?------------------ Raider 33rd~GS Raiders Site

It takes off with full back throttle. AKA-10% throttle.IP: Logged |

You mean that the AI will not take off correctly. They rev up to full throttle, roll the length of the runway, then cut throttle and try to pull up. Is this right. If so we will address this with the FM work.If it is something else, just let me know. Again thanks for you input. IP: Logged |

No, see, ME AS THE PILOT, can take off with 10% throttle (idle/throttle at full back) landing is almost impossible, you can't land unless you shut the engine off. My dad is an ex pilot and he thinks its great other than the fact it takes off at idle.IP: Logged |

Aladar, I have not seen this problem, In the training mission for Take-off, I can sit on the runway, start engine, release brake and roll 5 - 10 mph all the way down the runway. Can you try to reinstall the P-51, see if that helps. Is anyone else having this problem? ------------------ Raider 33rd~GS Raiders Site

I do not get this problem. I just roll VERY slowly down the runway. One thing tho, the tail lifts up off the ground at about 30-40 mph. I find that unrealistic.------------------ -=Make sims, not hype=- IP: Logged |

I tried the same thing in the training mission, and got the same results as ArgonV.IP: Logged |

Thanks for the input, one thing Pang will fix is that the tail is way too light, this should fix the ground handling with tail lifting off so early. Also you will notice that when in level flight you have to keep the stick pulled back a little. Adding the weight to the back end will change the center of gravity and make the plane turn a little faster, but also make it less stable. ------------------ Raider 33rd~GS Raiders Site
