Well, the stukas dive siren's were called the Horns of Jerico, so anywho, what I was thinkin, what it we had a invisible object on the stuka, with a breakoff point at around 400mph, and when it breaks off the sound you hear is the dive siren! Would that work? I tried the dive siren commando had but I just don't like it, it max's out my speakers, it crackles. I'll look for a MSFS dive siren. LMK if it would work!! I got a great file but it is in the wrong format, could anyone possibly convert it?------------------ "Don't move, if we scatter, he'll pick us off! yes, that would work.. but then you'd have to play the rest of the mission with that damn siren screamin in your ears..personaly I'd bail out.. lolIP: Logged |

Aladar send your sound file to me, I can convert most types to wav files. If you are getting crackles on sound it can be due to PCI bus overload, or a low spec sound card. I upgraded to a SB live last year and the difference was amazing.IP: Logged |

Aldar, if you have a breaking DOF on the Stuka to start the siren, how are you going to stop it? IP: Logged |

No, not a breaking dof! A piece on the plane without a LOD, that brakes off around 400mph, all you have to do is put the detach sound in your sound folder.IP: Logged |

I thought that the G model didn't have a siren - it was deleted. Also, I am suprised that no one has tried to make it into a J (?) (the carrier based version).IP: Logged |

The G model did not have the siren... so basicly its all just a unrealistic attempt at something really kewl. But when earlier models are made, this idea will come in handy. Im currently working on the carrier version but do not know the exact diffrences. (loadouts, performances etc....) If you know them please tell me. Also, the Germans had no completed carrier so what shall we use? (Nat, the Graf Zepplin Carrier if you will )------------------ -=Make sims, not hype=- IP: Logged |

That is what I was thinking you all were up to, I just was making sure . Anyways, the Graf Zepplin would be a good one, also possibly an escort carrier. We have the Bizmark, so we could do a simulated German/British carrier TF engagement. Just start the AI in the air or the mission will be real short. I can look and see what I have on the J(?), although probably not much more that confirmation of it's existance.IP: Logged |

Hmmm... looked at my refrences. The carrier based variant was a converted Ju87B (Ju87C-1, Ju87C-0 were the official designations) So it appears I cannot convert the Ju87G to the carrier variant. IP: Logged |
