heya argon!Firstly - WOW!! AOE!!! I didn't think anybody still had it! If you can believe it, I was flying AOE right up until I bought SDOE! Hehe, I saw that pic on the box and thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Then I installed it. I thought I'd died.  Secondly, Was the P39Q a real variant? How is this plane different from Razer's P39? Hehehe, I still play AOE. I have a TON of mods for it... one of which is the P-39D. Secondly, the P-39Q is a REAL variant. They were sold to the Soviets under the lend and lease program, and used very heavily might I add on the Eastern Front. The P-39Q is basicly a P-39N with under wing 50Cal gun pods. (Take a look at the pics to see the gun pods) I did a copy\paste\rename\tweak of Razers P-39N, added a new skin from dauntless (sorry I forget the numbers after his name) and its a whole new aircraft under the Soviet Union. P.S. I also put in the correct loadouts for rockets (Well, I still dont know what type of rockets so I used the default ones. If anyone knows exactly what type of rockets she used please let me know) and one 500 lb. bomb on the center rack. Razer's P-39 had a whole bunch of screwy loadouts (Screwy in the since that a P-39 of basicly any variant can only carry 500 lbs. of bombs)------------------

Thanks! You can download the Gun Sounds pack at http://www.simfiles.com that I put out a while back. Be sure to get the Caliber Fixes pack as well. It fixes a few issues with the origonal ones. Im glad to hear that no one (with the exception of Drift and his Prop.tif problem) has had any problems with it yet. (other than what was already not finished)------------------

Look in the texture directory under Media\aircraft\p39Q and make sure there is a file there called Prop.tifAh crap! Found the problem. Be sure to have Razers origonal P-39 installed. I forgot to tell the p39Q.sm file to look in aircraft\p39Q instead of aircraft\p39 for the prop texture. One problem down, no telling how many more... Sorry guys.  ------------------

Werner good call on AOE. I've got AOE and Aces of the Pacific with the 1946 pack I've got them still loaded on my 133.------------------
