Do you really think I would leave you all on tenderhooks waiting for the weekend, get your siren wail here:-

http://www.3dgw.com/simfiles/scripts/singlefile.php3?fileid=189

Activate by pressing G on start of dive, lasts for 14 secs so start your dive at the correct height, (can't tell you what that is as I'm still Joystickless)

Thank you Darthbob, just noticed I set the sound level too low, I will include the uprated one in the Weekend full release including engine sounds.

Werent the sirens called Jehovah's Trumpets? And could you make the siren an engine which when turned on is given no power, the "prop" turns in the wind and has the sound of a wailing Stuka, if you get what I mean?

Cheers

I am definatly not a plane builder, but I can see some probs with your Idea, SDOE only allows one enginerun per plane hence Mistel's 3 engines all have same engine sound but should be say 1 bf109 plus JU88's. Also all Siren sounds I have been sent have all been recorded on ground , hence all have doppler effect so cannot be used in a looping sound. For a really authentic sound we need the sirens recorded in the cockpit, but then we would also have the engine sound included which would double up with the installed enginerun.
