Got the Stuka and all I can say is....It looks Marvelous!!!

I am unable to get the bomb loadouts to work however. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Perhaps there was a command line I didn't copy correctly?

Otherwise....great plane! However, that rear gun is a tough little monster on my poor Spitfire though.

Excellent work. Should be fun.

I'm unable to edit my startup.ppf and my keyboard.inp files to enter relevent info.
I'm asked what programme would I like to use to open the files. I havent a clue?

What would happen if I don't change the relevent info, would the plane still function? I have not edited any files within SDOE before as all of my downloads/planes seem to work fine, touch wood. Has it been changed automatically as I unzipped?

Thanks guys. I never thought anybody will describe a Stuka as beautiful. LOL.

I guess Yardstick's textures did it.

PR,

Make sure the germ100.sm and germ550.sm are in the "Fighter Squadron\media\aircraft\weapons" directory.
Also, edit your startup.ppf file in the "Fighter Squadron\media" directory and add the ff:
"aircraft/weapons/germ100.sm"
"aircraft/weapons/germ550.sm"

Just got finished flying the Stuka.... ITS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

I can only comment about one thing. When viewed from super close up and at certain angles, some parts dissapear. Other than that, flawless.

ArgonV,

Those parts switch out if you are 10 feet or less from the plane. I did this because those parts are not seen from the cockpit.

Mposis

I have all the things you mentioned, and they are all in the proper places (it seems) but I still get no bombs, and those rear firing guns chew up the attacking Spits like a buzz saw.

Still, it's such a great plane! You really have outdone yourself.

Just another late night brain dead moment.

Are you kiddin' me? This has got to be one of my favorite WWII aircraft since I was a kid- one of the first aircraft I think of when WWII comes into mind. I know she's a pig, but I've been hoping that someone would breath life into this one for SDOE from almost day 1. You've done it! Many thanks!

So far, it's a blast to fly too, and I love the anti-tank loadout! This is a great addition!

My oldest brother had the Cox control line Stuka model and that thing was so cool. It was black with a yellow spinner. I can't wait until someone paints up a black Stuka cause they just look so awesome.

Mposis,
Just like Private Roger I also have had no luck in with the bomb loadout. I'm positive that I've done what you said earlier.
Still no joy.
Suggestions?

Pogo,

What mission are you flying?
Did you look in the Fighter Squadron\media\aircraft\weapons directory for the germ550.sm and germ100.sm?
Is the startup.ppf file you changed in the
Fighter Squadron\media directory?

I don't know of anything else that can be wrong.
