thanks guys.. It looks pretty nice now, but the biggest problem is making the new parts look like JT's work. Plus the front canopy of the real Razorback had a spar running right down your line of sight. The Gunsight was moved 5 inches to the right and you shot at planes at an angle. Do we want this plne to be historicly accurate? If so, don't plan to fly this plane anytime soon. ------------------ Tony "Razer" Martin "Making SDOE a dangerous Place, One plane at a time!" Razer, the sight on the bf109 is also offset to the right. All you do is move the pilot's point-of-view to line up with the sight and hey presto. SDOE is the only game that allows for this sort of historical accuracy and I'm all for. If you were to use a centre mounted sight, it would look like Combat Flight Simulator - I'm sure you don't want that ------------------ Yardstick painted this IP: Logged |

Yep. Cast my ballot (if thats what we are doing) for historical accuracy. I want the plane, but I want it as accurate as you can make it.BTW...it looks great! PR=FC= IP: Logged |

For what it's worth, I want that offset gunsight too. EAW had it that way, and someone patched it to move the strut....It needs to be right! I made a bodge job razorback a while ago, but chickened out when I saw how much work it would take to make it look good. It's way more than just changing the fuse shape..... Go for it!!!!!! Wakeup, i know what your talking about. My two day quick project turned into a week or two major update. I think it's going ok. i'll add the correct front canopy last and move the gunsight over.. It wasn't that i couldn't do it, i just wanted to know if you guys wanted it that way. ------------------ Tony "Razer" Martin "Making SDOE a dangerous Place, One plane at a time!" Looking sweet! We need more plane variants for the Americans as they are lacking in planes.IP: Logged |

Spanky here... Yep more varients is always a good thing, THen we can start having historical match ups based on what was around at that date. IP: Logged |
