The Dauntless isnt even finnished yet... let alone an Avenger.  Maybe when Midway is cleaned up and working, and the bazillions of other bomber/fighter projects are in late beta stage, and the Dauntless is completed an Avenger will be made. But dont hold your breath. It will probably be a looooong time till one is even being thought of as a project.IP: Logged |

The Dauntless isn't finished yet because it's main modeler is in the boonies until October and jedi has a gazillion other projects going on. If you'll remember, it was never meant to be released (Hell- it isn't even Alpha yet!), but because some of you had requested it, you have it available now in it's present state! I was against releasing it early but Jag felt maybe someone could work on it in his absence...so enough bitching about the Dauntless-- the team is on hold for now because the team pretty much consists of Jag (who is gone for a while...), me (who isn't a modeler- only a researcher and mission maker) and jedi (who's damn busy!)-- but when it is finished, I have a 10 Midway campaign set up and all ready for it-- it is the best piece of work I have done up to date and basically follows to the letter (or as far as I can go)-- what happened in 1942. There is a plus side to this though-- by the time the Dauntless is ready for release (and thus my campaign as well)- I should be able to add the Catalina in *wink- wink* hey Snickers?  ------------------

I realize this...I just get sick of hearing people gripe about it being unfinished. If I had my way, Jag, jedi, Tail, Nat, and I would be the only ones with it on our hard drives, but sometimes, the gimme gimme motiviations on this Forum allow such unfinished projects to be released...------------------

Jeeves, I have an idea for that bomb release thing. (bomb arm swings down into position and bomb falls away in one step) I will work on it and let you know if it works.------------------
