Far as I know there is one in the works, but I think it might be a little while off yet, which isn't really a bad thing, there's so much work going on at the moment it could be a good idea just to hang back a little till things calm down.

I think it might be prudent to look into creating separate planepacks for different eras theatres or nations. I think if you compile all the addons that are available now into one download it is getting very large indeed for a lot of people to face downloading via modem.

I like the idea of splitting it out by country. However the danger his is that someone downloads Germany only there will be mismatches. Still, the number of planes is only going to get larger (woo hoo!) and we need to make it easy on those of us with standard modems (like me )

I dont know how this would impact making the PAR files or the number (of PAR files) avail, and it will initially be more work. Still may be worth it in the long run....

Spanky here..

Well theres a ww1 pack and a ww2 pack

Yes the ww2 pack might end up with a couple early war jets but cutting them will only save ya a couple megs at most.

its not worth it with the possiblitys of conflicts online.

Just use getright and you can DL while you do other stuff any time you are on.

I have to agree with Jet for the most part, I think that a WW1 and WW2 pack are the way to go, but in the near future we should start a seperate pack for JetPack, givings us 3 plane packs covering each period for aircraft developemant, although as stated, we don't have to maney jets right now for them not to be included in the usual pack.
