SV, Luny, Esox, Snickers, Loco.. er.. er.. darn I forgot who else.. but thanks for the online testing tonight, espicially your confidence boosting FR reports, the hog aint such a hog after all it was good to hear good reports on what you thought of her (hope they were honest and not trying to hurt my feelings.. lol)

Really though, thanks for the test and glad you liked mixin it up in an A10, especially SV, 1 cause he's a WW1 guy and still liked it and 2 for his help with some of the little problems needing to be fixed in the pit

I feel better now.. heh

It was fun! I'm not so much a wwi guy as a "primitive aviation" guy, and in a way the simple nature of the A10 (compared with the hi-tech fighters) makes it more fun to me. I like early jet warfare as well.

That was quite a battle! My frame rate was not bad at all too

Well, after more extensive testing and 8 hours of work, I've settled on the (relatively) low poly model that Pete sorted out for me, the pit has been steadily worked on and is now showing most dial etc.

Well, it's been good testing her online, seems Sweep loves flying her anyway so for those that are interested the latest incarnation is located at http://members.xoom.com/naturlich/Media.zip

it's still looking very alpha, and still has lots of work to be done, but flys and fights the way she will on her final release.

Note* Texture Mapper required! Apply within! (Max is still giving me grief, so I can't map the parts myself)

Note2* Don't try using training missions
Note3* putting to little fuel in will result in a rather nasty takeoff attempt, currently max fuel load is 6000lbs, I recommend using 2500/3000 as standard

Seriously though, I really could use someone that will map this for me.

Later all

Col, thanks Razer, do you need just the SM file? if so let me know and I'll mail it to you, but all the current SM's etc are in the zip file above. There's a plain green texxure file in there that the SM refs to (A10.tif) but has no body shapes in there, I would have mapped to one of the current texture files myself and just renamed and reworked the tif, but do what you think is best since I can't do it, you have a free hand where mapping is concerned.

Very big thanks Razer, I mean, I know it's a Warthog, but I'll be glad when it don't look so damn ugly anymore! lol

Cheers
