well, got the first report back from Tom and it sounds very promising to me, I aint gonna have to rip it apart after all Nat, You really did your homework on this one. I have run out of time this afternoon but a preliminary evaluation of the flight characteristics, in my opinion, are pretty darn good. The rate and magnitude of energy loss in typical A-10 type manuevers is right in the ballpark from a first impression perspective. Manueverability is not exaggerated based upon my brief flight test. I had G-effects (blackout disabled) so I will enable that the next time I fly and try to see what pulling to blackout does to the energy level at various airspeeds. Energy is not maintained under sustained high g, so it is just a matter of whether or not it feels right based upon the pull. I will let you know. I have downloaded everything the SDOE online community has to offer and your A-10 has come from out of nowhere and boy, am I impressed. I can't wait to 'skin' it with one of my own when I get good enough. The warthog has quite a personality and true historical paint schemes will prove to make this a great model! Later, Tom

depends on how good you want the first Beta release, the damage models need work, and it needs mapping properly, my probs with max have stopped me from mapping it, it just has a texture thrown on cause I can't see it to align it in Max, but other than that, the model is built, the initial loadout is done (till I make the Mavericks etc) and the cockpit is usable, so an Alpha? release could be made I guess probably over the weekend, if someone would like to map it for me that would be even betterbtw.. A10 vs Harrier is alot of fun, the A10 isn't quiet as agile, but it has that pretty little Avenger in the nose.. it bites hard lol and a slightly better rate of climb due to the more powerful engines... oh and it is awsome against ground targets!
