I managed to reinstall and make the game
run fine EXCEPT for these errors. I installed
the new russian Pe-2, even though it shows up
in the proper dir, every time when I try to fly a training mission, the Pe-2 cockpit will
appear for about a sec then it DTD!

Also when I installed the Ultimate P38 in
what I thought was the correct dir, the P38
does NOT appear in the game? I've decided
to stop at this point and ask for assistance
what's the point of installing a bunch of
new planes in the game IF they don't appear
in the game?

I've used Winzip for at least 5 years, and
I read very well, so when I install file's
according to instructions, and they don't
work, then I'm stumped!

When I installed the russian Yak it runs just fine?

Plane pack 5.3 and the patch 5.3b work just
fine, I added in some Zero sounds that work just fine! I'm confused.

By the way, if anyone here has seen WW2 gun
camera film, you may want to note how tracer
rounds BOUNCE off the ground, this would be
a nice touch to add!

Also I noticed that when I "flew" the standard P38 in the game how on
takeoff the plane wanted to veer off to
the left. This is not a correct FM trait
of the P38. Since the P38 had contra-rotating props, any engine torgue was
negated.

So the P38(IMO) should pretty much fly in
a straight line.
