Well, I did betatest the Sherman quite a bit, but I only used the hangar mission I had made, and some other test missions, I didnt test the training mission, as I thought I just made a copy of the hangar mission anyway. SO sorry for the inconvenience, you can fix it by just deleting the sherman training mission.

Actually the Tanks need work to make them clean openplane objects, they work great for me offline (except ai will never drive without code changes) and they work moderately well online, they cause lockups sooner or later.

Well sorry for causing any grief with that training mission. Wish some real openplane Guru would take these tanks and clean them up so that they work perfectly online, then we could have ww2online ourseleves.

I personaly think you've done a great work
with the tanks!

The only thing is ...I was terrible angry
about the whole messup of my folders..and
your 'training' mission for the sherman
gave me the final kill ;-)

cheers

Archy...

Don't feel put off by this please...I am having a lot of fun playing with the 2 offline- you have done a great job! I haven't joined you online because lately my connection is crappy at best. As far as the missions go, I rarely use the ones that ship with the zips because about 50-60 % of them don't even work anyways. Nat has the right idea in his releases by not releasing missions...I guess I am biased though because I have pretty much mastered the mission editor anyways...

Also- I had no problems with your download as far as extra folders...I really think the latest problems were a mixture of Aladars 300 folders ( ) and the mission in the tank zip-- but I hope this all doesn't discourage you-- I am hoping to make a few missions with your tanks as soon as I have time.

Archy

Why doesn't it work (the training-mission)?
I can't see a reason why it's not working
(CDT).

Anyone an idea?

Oh heck Arch, it wasn't THAT bad.

I'm probably one of the stupidest people computer-wise on this board, and even I figured out it was the training mission, and just removed it with explorer.

It didn't like go in and change a bunch of stuff, and flash a big picture of Rush Limbaugh on the screen or anything.

I think they're pretty cool. I hope we keep refining these dudes, as I can see some online missions that would be totally bitchin' with Jabos, top cover, agressors, and good guy and bad guy tanks.

Oh, baby!
