I'm currently working with armer Joe to spruce up the B17, damage model it in more detail and put real people into the crew positions. Farmer Joe has done some cracking detailed crew men, and all gun positions will be manned with 'people' when we are done. It will also have bombs in the bomb-bay, and plenty of bits to shoot off etc.

All the work we are doing on theB17 could migrate nicely across to a B24!

In fact, it would probably have been far easier to have done some of this work on a less complete plane!
Just spent half the afternoon slicing the nose portion off to make it detachable. The vertces were not well placed to make that easy!

Still, flak hits should blow the nose off, along with bombadier positions and navigator guns.

Give me a shot at the B24 and all this could be yours ..... as they say...

The B24 is my favourite American bomber too

( not that I'm pleading here.... )
