Though not an aircraft, I'll bet that Norton
flys! Had one back in 72. What a gas it was
blowing off 750 hondas!

I have TWO , one is an 850 Interstate and the other is a 750 Roadster. I cant do one in ops but I can record one at full throttle and use it as an enginerun sound, looking out for a stereo mic to allow me to do that. To the uninitiated the Norton Commando was the first Superbike. It combined low weight (100+ pounds lower than Jap bikes of same era) with Harley Davidson grunt to out accelerate anything from a standing start. I still ride mine (had it for 20 years) and give current riders a shock when I take off from the lights. I'll post more pics in time Crankshaft, AHHHH Memories .

My Guzzi LeMans will give you a run for your money. Not so hot away from the lights, but she makes up for it on the curvy bits. Should record you the sound of twin Lanfranconis.....only Merlins sound better.

Wakeup you just gave me an idea, a 90 degree v twin recorded at 6000 rpm is eqivalent to a V4 running at 3000 rpm, if that recording was then laid over itself a futher 2 times at precise crankshaft degrees timing by using a sound editor (which of couse I have already got) then you get a V12 at 3000 rpm. If your exhaust system has is not a 2 into 1 then the left and right silencers were recorded as left and right channels you will have a full stereo effect and not the current false stereo of my current sounds. The same with a commando would give you a straight 12 and could be extended to 18 cylinders for the twin wasp in the corsair and P47. Now where to get a stereo mic LOL.
