Last night, we had a "WW I party" in California Server

I had a blast!
We had at start 5 pilots..later about 8.

We had first a few missions where we had to fly a long distance to the opponents.
I was too high and had to go low which is not easy ( to keep ya wings on i mean )

Furballs are great in WW I..close together with risk of a (lag) collision

We had some experienced WW I pilots and some WW II veterans ( who had some troubles adjusting hihihi )

I look allready forward to the next WW I meeting !
( next Sunday ??? again at 9 pm GMT ?? )

Fully agree, I haven't had this much fun in ages, they are just simply joyful to fly and I know we all had a great time, which for me was cut short (3 hours later) by Cali server problems... everyone in the forum would simply vanish until I left and ame back.. But the flying, the fighting was all great and I really hope this becomes a regular event.

Best fun was a fight I had with Commando.. his rear gunner blew the crap out of my engine @ 6000ft, and after a long fight I still managed to get the kill just by gliding around and getting hits on him when I could.. eventual I ran out of ammo (still with no engine whatsoevere.. and big white and black smoke plumes), but manged to bank round as he turned to dive under me, and I ripped his upper wings off with the undercarrage killing him, and I glided down do a rough but servivable bump landing

"Come back Commando.. I'll nut you in the bollocks!" LOL
